Throwback Thursday: Test Your Vintage Jeep Vehicle Knowledge

Whenever we're looking for some quality Throwback Thursday material, we know we can count on the @Jeep Twitter team. Every week they post a small portion of a picture of a vintage Jeep vehicle, and challenge their followers to guess what it is. Sometimes they are tricky, and sometimes they are obvious. Let's see how you do with this one. Take a guess, and look for our answer, below.

At first glance, the vehicle in question looks like an older Wrangler. However, the Wrangler didn't make its debut until 1986, and this one looks just a little older. That would make this the Wrangler's predecessor, the CJ-7. Taking into account some of the past answers, however, this would be too easy of a solution.

Instead, the important clue appears to be the stripes on the hood, which, if memory serves us correctly, would make this a Jeep Laredo. We don't know the exact year, but the Laredo was available for 7 years, from 1980 to 1986. What do you think? If you have a different answer, let us know in the comments what clues we may have missed. The answer will be revealed tomorrow, so be sure to follow @Jeep on Twitter.
